This handsome boy is Luka, a Blue Heeler mix with a beautiful coat and personality plus. He is an affectionate 3 year-old who weighs 40lbs.

Luka was a stray and his owners never came forward to claim him. So his past is unknown. His foster parents say he's responded very quickly to basic training so he'll be at his best for his next home.

Luka is house and leash trained. He gets along with dogs of all sizes but cats are unknown. He knows "sit," "shake" and "roll over." He loves car rides, learning new tricks and daily walks. Luka is athletic, intelligent and easy to train. We feel he would be happiest with an owner who is moderately active, and has experience with dogs. Luka also loves to snuggle and lay at your feet when it's time to relax.

Luka is a wonderful dog. He is sure to succeed with a new owner that is dedicated to giving him the love and attention he deserves.

Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard.
