Chip - Cattle Dog Dog for Adoption in Momence, Illinois

Sometimes a dog comes back through no fault of his own. And this sweet boy deserves another chance!

Our handsome, happy-go-lucky, one-year-old boy is back with us, and we want everyone to know what a WONDERFUL dog he truly is!

He was adopted into a loving home with twin toddlers and a five-year-old. He did great in so many ways! He was potty trained, well-behaved, playful, affectionate, and wonderful with the five-year-old.

But here’s the thing. Little toddlers can be unpredictable with their quick movements, and sometimes those movements startled him. Being a young, playful boy, he also showed a little herding behavior around the toddlers. Nothing malicious, just a young dog trying to figure out those busy little humans!

His family felt that a home without toddlers would be a better fit for everyone. And we completely understand.

But PLEASE don’t let the word “returned” make you overlook this amazing boy!

He is only ONE year old, loves people, gets along GREAT with other dogs, and has such a happy, playful personality. He has already shown that he knows how to behave in a home. He just needs the right family where he can relax, play, and be loved.

A home with older children or adults would be a wonderful fit for him!

AND HERE’S SOME GREAT NEWS! HIS ADOPTION FEE IS NOW FULLY SPONSORED WITH AN APPROVED APPLICATION!

That’s right! Someone believes in this sweet boy so much that they’ve covered his adoption fee. Now all he needs is someone to believe in him enough to give him a forever home.

Please don’t let this boy sit in rescue wondering what happened to the family he thought was his forever. He has SO much love to give!
