Snickerdoodle is a beautiful Cattle Dog x Pittie (and maybe some Shepherd) mix we rescued mere hours before she was set to be euthanized at a high-kill shelter in LA. Everyone she meets is captivated by her gorgeous, silky-soft brindled coat and warm brown eyes. The best part — she has the personality to match. Snickerdoodle’s a true beauty, inside and out.

Snickerdoodle has the working dog intelligence and drive - ball has become life. She’s crate and house trained, and finds the crate to be her safe space when she needs a little time. While, it might take her a little time to trust you, once she does she’s the happiest, most curious and playful LUV who’s full of heart and snuggles.

We believe Snickerdoodle had a rough start to life. After some time with us, we discovered she was fearful and insecure with new people and environments. Thankfully, our incredible trainer, Josh of K9 Optima, was able to welcome her into his home, give her the space she needed, and took the time to truly understand what makes Snickerdoodle, Snickerdoodle, and find the unlocks to provide her with the tools she needs to build trust, confidence, and thrive.

Snickerdoodle has made leaps and bounds in her time with Josh. She’s learned how to someone finally trust, what it’s like to have someone finally see and understand her, how to pay and initiate play with other dogs, and most importantly, she’s learned how to just be a dog, radiating happiness and LUV.
