Yodi - Cattle Dog and Shepherd Dog for Adoption in Fort Lupton, Colorado

Hi I'm Griffin, but my friends call me Yodi! I'm a little over a year old and about 50 pounds. I love people and other dogs, but no kitties please!

For a young guy, I have quite a story! My foster mama was down in new mexico volunteering at a spay neuter clinic and was staying in a cabin in a fairly remote area. I had been loose for a while and was really hungry and she looked pretty nice, so even though I was really scared, I made a few appearances on her porch hoping she would see me. She did, and spent a few hours luring me in with food and snacks. The vet team was able to check me out and get me all my pokes and prods so I could travel home with them to Colorado. Even though I was frozen with fear, I was a really good boy and let them do what they needed to. After a few months in my foster home getting fattened up, I learned that I actually really love people and get really excited to meet new ones! Some dogs I need a little slower intro with, but some I love right away and am ready to play! I would do best in a home with another social and playful dog, no kitties please. I do need a 6ft tall fence though, I'm part kangaroo I think (they have those in NM right?). Besides hanging out with my people and dog friends, I also like to "herd" all my stuffies into one big pile.
