Wilbur - Cattle Dog and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Buffalo, Minnesota
WILBUR
Cattle Dog, Mixed Breed
🇺🇸
Buffalo, Minnesota
July 3rd
female, medium, adult
DESCRIPTION
Location: Mankato, MN
Wilbur is such a lovable goof! This big fluffball loves everybody, especially if they scratch his butt. His favorite spot is to be on the couch with people, if you can't find him there, he's snoozing on your bed or in his crate! He does very well in his crate, and is fully potty trained.
He loves kids and is very friendly with every dog he's met. I haven't seen him with any cats, but he can be cat tested on request.
Wilbur has one more vet appointment to take a look at his leg in mid July, he came in with a bone infection and it's healing up very nicely!

The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs over 9 months), FIV/FeLV test (cats - one in the litter), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration).
Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.
ABOUT: CATTLE DOG DOG BREED
The Cattle Dog is a diligent and robust herding breed known for its agility, intelligence, and hardworking nature. Originating in Australia, Cattle Dogs are highly energetic and require ample exercise and mental stimulation. With their remarkable problem solving skills and unwavering loyalty, they excel in various canine activities and make excellent companions for active owners. Their distinctive blue or red coat, sturdy build, and alert expression reflect their heritage as versatile working dogs.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
