Ruby is a 13-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix with a beautiful coat and a steady, loyal personality.

She’s lived with people of all ages, other dogs, and cats, and has been a companion in a home. Ruby already knows how to be a dog in a household—she’s well-mannered, house-trained, and settles in without a lot of fuss.

She enjoys being outside, still has a little spark for the things she loves (tennis balls, fresh air), and then is perfectly happy to come in and relax on a dog bed, in her kennel, or right on the couch.

Ruby rides well in the car, knows her commands, and has that calm, "I’ve got this" kind of presence that makes her easy to live with.

With other dogs, Ruby has done well, but she prefers ones who respect her space and don’t get right in her face. She’s a "mind your manners and we’ll get along just fine" kind of girl.
