DESCRIPTION
Meet Faye-the perfect combination of sweet and spunky! When she first arrived from Houston with her littermates, we thought she wanted to be picked up because she was scared of her new world. We soon learned Faye isn't afraid of anything, she just loves kisses and cuddles. She gets along with
all the other dogs she has met, she clearly loves her humans the most. Nothing makes her happier than curling up on a lap. Her spunky side comes out when she plays with her foster brother Fred,
who quickly learned that even though he is a year older and 30 pounds heavier, Faye is the boss! She is very chill, especially for a cattle dog mix. After walk around the block or a quick game of fetch,
she is content to find a sunny place to nap or chew on a toy. She is smart and very food motivated-a combination that should make her easy to train as long as you are willing to put in the time. She already does great on leash, sleeps through the night, and is making a lot of progress on potty training. If you are looking for the perfect puppy companion or the missing piece to complete your family, look no further than Faye!
ABOUT: CATTLE DOG DOG BREED
The Cattle Dog is a diligent and robust herding breed known for its agility, intelligence, and hardworking nature. Originating in Australia, Cattle Dogs are highly energetic and require ample exercise and mental stimulation. With their remarkable problem solving skills and unwavering loyalty, they excel in various canine activities and make excellent companions for active owners. Their distinctive blue or red coat, sturdy build, and alert expression reflect their heritage as versatile working dogs.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
