He's more of a sit-back-and-watch-the-nonsense-unfold kind of guy.
And when the festivities are over?
He has a very important appointment.

You see, Obanai has appointed himself Foster Mom's personal foot warmer.
No interview. No references. No discussion of salary.
He simply showed up for work one day, parked his little butt between her feet while she worked, and apparently decided he'd found his life's calling.
And his dedication to the position is UNMATCHED.
But underneath all that adorable old-man energy is something even sweeter.
Obanai is an incredibly loving, loyal little soul.
He's happiest when he's close to his person. He doesn't need to demand your attention every five minutes. Sometimes just knowing you're there is enough.
He'll follow you around, settle in nearby, and look up at you with those big, soulful eyes as though you've been his entire world forever.

He's also doing wonderfully with potty training for such a young puppy, although he'll still need the patience and consistency every baby deserves.
Now, before anyone mistakes our little retiree for a couch ornament, let's remember that Obanai is still a growing Catahoula mix! He'll need a family committed to training, exercise, mental enrichment, and helping him grow into a wonderful adult dog.
He just happens to have a calmer, more easygoing approach to life than his more rambunctious siblings.
