Monty, baby, only 7 months of age, 35 pounds of sweetness. Very friendly with other dogs. Personality: smart, friendly, playful, affectionate, Good with: people of all ages (including kids), dogs; wasn't tested with cats. Estimated date of birth: February 2026. Weight: 35 lbs
Medical: vetted, up to date on vaccinations, neutered, microchipped

He has everag energy level.
He enjoys being active and hanging out with his people, but hes not an over-the-top, crazy high-energy dog. He absolutely loves people and is incredibly affectionate. Hes also a very smart boy and seems eager to learn and please.

Monty has never lived inside a home, so that would definitely be a new experience for him and he would need someone willing to give him a little patience while he learns the ropes of being an indoor dog.

Hes decent on a leash already, and I think with some consistency he would pick up on household routines and expectations pretty quickly.

His Background story:
He came to us from the pound after having a pretty rough start. He had been mauled by a larger dog and had a terrible bite wound that had become infested with maggots. Thankfully, we were able to get him the veterinary care he needed, and he healed up beautifully. Despite everything he went through, he has remained such a sweet, loving dog and genuinely enjoys being around people and all dogs.

And yes, he is a gorgeous brindle boy! His pictures really dont do his coloring justice. Hes just an all-around sweet dog who deserves the chance to finally know what its like to be someones beloved companion.
