HOW IS MARS STILL WAITING?
Two years old. Blind. Neutered. House trained. Crate trained. And still waiting for someone to choose him.
Mars has become one of our long-term fosters and our hearts are breaking for him. He watches other dogs find their families while he keeps waiting for someone to look past the word blind and see the amazing dog he truly is.
Because Mars doesnt know hes supposed to be different.
He loves EVERY person he meets. Hes sweet, affectionate, goofy, and just wants to be close to his people. He can navigate his world beautifully and doesnt let blindness stop him from enjoying life. He loves lounging in the backyard and then snuggling up next to you for some TV or while your reading a book. He walks well on a leash!
There is just one thing Mars needs: to be your one and only pet. No dogs. No cats. Just him and his people.
And maybe thats not a lot to ask for the dog who has already waited so long.
Imagine the day Mars finally realizes, They came for me. The day he walks out of rescue and into a home that is his. The day he finally gets to stop waiting.
Mars doesnt need a perfect family. He just needs someone willing to see him for who he is.
Someone who will love him.
Someone who will give him a safe place to land.
Someone who will make him their one and only.
Mars has been waiting long enough. Please help us find his forever.
