Meet Pepper – A Gentle Soul Looking for a Patient and Loving Home!

Pepper is a beautiful 2-year-old Catahoula mix weighing just 18 lbs. This sweet girl spent about a month wandering around a business before she was finally rescued. Little did we know, Pepper was also pregnant! She later gave birth to one precious baby girl, who will also be available for adoption soon.

When Pepper was first rescued, she was extremely timid and scared. With time, patience, and kindness, she has slowly started coming out of her shell, showing everyone just how sweet and loving she truly is.

Pepper is a very calm, gentle, and laid-back girl who just needs a little time to feel safe and comfortable with new people. Once she learns to trust you, she loves being by your side and soaking up affection. She also takes treats very gently.

Pepper gets along well with other dogs, but she’s not the type who wants to run around and play with them. She is more of a chill girl who prefers to be left alone to relax and enjoy her own space. Slow introductions are recommended so she does not feel overwhelmed. She also needs to enjoy her meals and treats separately from other dogs.

Pepper is not the kind of girl who will immediately run into your arms, but she is the kind who will slowly learn to trust you and form a special bond. She is looking for a patient, understanding family who will respect her space, let her adjust at her own pace, and love her for the gentle soul she is.

Pepper does not ask for much. Just a peaceful home, a little patience, and someone who will give her the love and security she deserves.
