Hi! I’m Barbara and I’m on a very important mission:
Finding my forever family.
A little about my past:
I was living outside in a rural town not far from Austin with my 2 siblings when we were just 9-10 weeks old. Living life outside was not easy- it was really hard to find food and water, and we were SO itchy from all the tiny bugs that the hoomans call "ticks & fleas." We were just minding our own business playing on the dirt road, when a car passed by and a stranger walked out and tried to call us over. We all hid in the tall grass- nobody ever stopped for us before. Then the stranger brought out some tasty treats and I was the first one to run over to him- I was SO hungry! This guy put all of us in his car and we just slept- I'm not sure what is was, but we just knew he was there to help us. Now, I am in a home with my foster mom and foster brother learning how to be the best dog for my forever family!
I’ll be honest with you… when we first meet, I might act a little shy. New people are a big deal for a tiny girl like me. But give me just a little time and suddenly I’ll be:
💖 Rolling over for belly rubs
💤 Curled up in your lap for the best naps ever
🎾 Challenging you to epic tug-of-war battles
🚗 Riding shotgun and watching the world out the window
Basically… I go from “who is this human?” to “YOU ARE MY WHOLE WORLD.”
And guess what? I’m not just cute — I’m a very smart girl too!
🎓 My Puppy Report Card:
⭐ Almost fully crate trained (I nap like a pro when it’s cozy and covered)
⭐ Learning to go in my crate when you ask
⭐ Almost potty trained — I am even learning to go to the door to let you know I need to go out!
🌧 Working on being brave during storms and rainy potty breaks. I still get a little nervous!
I also LOVE other dogs once I know they’re my friends. My foster brother is pretty great, so I’d totally be happy with a dog sibling.
My dream home could have:
🐶 Another dog to play with
👨👩👧👦 Kids to grow up with
❤️ Or just a human who wants a loyal little shadow
I’ve met babies and kids and I’m still learning they aren’t always ready for full puppy play mode — but I promise I’m trying my best!
Here’s the truth:
Somewhere out there is a home where I’ll finally belong. A couch where I’ll take naps. A family who will laugh at my puppy zoomies. A person who will call me their dog.
Maybe… it’s you.
🐾 Adopt me and gain:
Unlimited cuddles
A lifetime of loyalty
And the happiest tail wags you’ve ever seen
Your best friend is waiting. Don’t make me wait too long.
I am in a foster home in Pflugerville and my foster mom is open to setting up a meet & greet before choosing to adopt- please email Kassidy@tracyspawsrescue.com if you are serious about adopting and would like to set this up!
Barbara is available with approved application and confirmed adoption. Her adoption fee is $375.
