Are you looking for a big, cuddly couch potato? You have found your pup! Roger is a 75-pound, 2-year old shepherd mix whose love of naps and cuddle sessions are matched only by his love of booty skritches. He has an EAR-resistible face with his light eyes and one ear always at attention.

Despite his tall stature, hes a bit of a scaredy cat. Hes timid of strangers at first and prefers a home without children. Despite months of coaching and training, it has become clear he will not get over his fear of children and so he is now looking for a kid-free forever home. He is the happiest, snuggliest boy! He even greets his grown ups with a smile when they walk through the door. Please dont try to tell him hes not a lap dog; hed never believe you.

Roger loves other dogs and has not been cat-tested. He is house trained, crate trained, and great on a leash. Roger is truly the cuddliest, most loving lazy bones — an old soul, no doubt! Lets find him a home where he will get the big love he deserves!

He is fully vetted. Vetting includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all dog vaccinations. His adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to CT. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Roger up north to his new family. You can apply to adopt him today!
