Lexie- $70 Adoption Fee! - Carolina Dog and Hound Dog for Adoption

Between July 5th and July 26th, part of my adoption fee is sponsored! Thanks to the Bissell Pet Foundation's Empty the Shelters campaign, my new family can take me home for $70!

Meet Lexie! Lexie is a 1.5-year-old Hound mix weighing about 45 pounds, and she's already proving to be an easygoing, lovable companion. Since settling into her foster home, she's shown that she's house-trained, dog-friendly, and happily coexists with cats.

On walks, Lexie is calm and gentle, taking the world in stride without reacting to people or other dogs she passes. Right now, she's enjoying the simple pleasures in life-soft couches, cozy naps, and decompressing after her time in the shelter.

As Lexie continues to settle in, we're excited to learn even more about her personality. For now, she's showing us that sometimes the sweetest dogs are the ones who just want a safe place to relax and feel loved.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
