My name is Bruno, and I’ve been at the Stafford County Animal Shelter since September 11, 2025. I’m a 2-year-old Cane Corso Mastiff mix, weighing around 80 pounds of brindle handsomeness, and I’m ready to find a home that will love me for the big-hearted boy I am.
I came here with my sister Cleo after our owner could no longer keep us. She’s still waiting too, and we both dream about the day someone finally opens their heart and gives us the second chance we deserve.
I’m neutered, microchipped, and rabies vaccinated, so there are no geographical adoption restrictions—I could go home today. I’m loyal, affectionate, and happiest when I get to spend time with people. I love being part of things and have so much love to give.
I do best in a home without small dogs, cats, or other little animals, my instincts make it hard for me to resist chasing them, but with humans, I’m gentle, devoted, and eager to please. I would thrive with someone who understands my breed and will give me structure, patience, and time to settle in.
I’ve been here for too long now, watching others come and go. I’m still holding onto hope that soon, it’ll be my turn to walk out those shelter doors and finally go home.
