Anbar, the Snuggle bug - Canaan Dog Dog for Adoption in Franklin Township, New Jersey

Meet Anbar! This incredibly happy, affectionate girl is currently in Amman, Jordan, eagerly waiting for her freedom flight to the United States and a family to call her own.

Anbar was found alone, suffering from a severely shattered front leg. She was rushed to the vet, and despite the medical team's best efforts, the only way to finally free her from her pain was amputation.

Today, Anbar doesn't let being a tripod slow her down for a second! She loves life and quickly learned how to run and play beautifully on three legs. She is one of the happiest, most loving dogs you will ever meet. She absolutely adores people, demands cuddles, and will happily insist on belly rubs! She doesn't act like a dog who lost a leg; she acts like a dog who finally feels safe and just wants to share her joy.

Anbars trainer notes that she is highly intelligent and a very special girl. She is a quick learner who is eager to please. We also learned that she loves little kids and babies. She just wants to snuggle them!

Anbar is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped.
