Summer - Cairn Terrier Dog for Adoption in Oakland, California

Everyone...please meet our Beautiful 10 year old beautiful senior girl! Her name is Summer.
She is so easy going and just wants to be part of the group. She is super sweet and loves to be brushed and loved. She's around 43 pounds. She could be a Norfolk Terrier or Norwich Terrier mix perhaps?
We are a small dog rescue so she's about 3 times the size we normally rescue! She looked at us with those gorgeous eyeballs of hers, and we said we would take her into our 510 Paws Rescue family. She is so happy to be rescued! She literally just wants to lay around and enjoy the sun. She is just a doll. She is looking forward to the future!
Summers favorite things are sun bathing, eating, following her humans around, playing with other dogs, and trying to be part of the family. She loves going for walks and would make a perfect walking companion. She is potty trained and gets along with cats! She's enjoying soft fluffy beds and blankets. She is on a weight loss journey, because she wasn't being exercised, but she was sure being fed! She loves to exercise and we are sad that nobody took her out for walks and let her get too chunky! We don't judge over here, but for her health, she needs to lose about 10 more pounds. She has lost 2 pounds at the time we are writing this bio. Nothing special is required just normal exercise and the correct amount of food.
Summer is ready for the world, She loves to play with other doggies! She loves fun and gentle kids that run with her and play chase. Are you a Senior Citizen that needs a friend. Or maybe you need a new office dog to cheer your co workers up during the long work days. She is willing to put her heart on the line for love!
