When Zeus first arrived at the shelter, he was a little unsure of the world around him. But with some time, patience, and love, this sweet 3-year-old Cairn Terrier mix has completely come out of his shell - and what a joy it has been to watch!

Today, Zeus is an extremely social and affectionate boy who absolutely loves being around people. Once he knows you, he's more than happy to soak up all the attention you're willing to give. Zeus is a super cuddly companion who would happily curl up next to his favorite person and enjoy some quality time together.

Zeus also enjoys the company of other dogs and does well making new canine friends. He's alright on a leash and is ready to continue discovering all the wonderful things life has to offer outside of the shelter.

Perhaps the most special thing about Zeus is seeing the difference a little patience and kindness has made in his life. The dog who once seemed shut down is now showing everyone just how loving, social, and affectionate he can be.
