Meet Wicket

This 19-pound bundle of fluff and feelings is about 5 years old and believed to be a terrier/Schnauzer mix... emphasis on the fluff right now He’s currently rocking a “before” look, but don’t worry — he’s heading to the groomer this week, so stay tuned for his glow-up!

Wicket came to us as an owner surrender after being bullied by his cousin (rude, honestly), and he’s more than ready to trade that drama for a home filled with kindness, cozy spots, and maybe a lap or two.

He had a bath today and was an absolute rockstar — calm, cooperative, and clearly just happy to be loved on. This sweet boy is friendly, cuddly, and has that gentle little soul that just melts into you. The kind of dog who will follow you around, keep you company, and remind you daily that you’re his whole world.

Wicket is going to make someone so happy. He’s that perfect mix of adorable, affectionate, and just a tiny bit scruffy (for now ).

Wicket will be fixed, is microchipped and is up to date on v
accines. He tested negative for heartworm. His adoption donation is $450.

Adopting an animal is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these animal have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
