COSMO KRAMER - Bullmastiff and Terrier Dog for Adoption in Cadiz, Ohio

Out of a litter of 9 puppies dumped in the Piedmont/Freeport area between midnight on Sept. 11 and 6:30am Sept. 12, only 2 are left waiting for forever homes at the Harrison County Dog Pound in Cadiz, OH. Meet COSMO KRAMER. He will be 5 months old, born on May 19. COSMO KRAMER is one of the larger ones, weighing in at 31 lbs. The vet thinks he will be about 55-60 lbs.. When he first came to our pound, he was shy and awkard with little socialization while he tried to figure out that not all people have an evil streak in them. Fortunately, we’ figured out the way to win him over: food! Like most males of any species, the quickest route to their hearts is thru their stomachs. He might have been a little suspicious of you at first, but now he realizes you’re the one holding the treats and that makes you very interesting and approachable. He is no longer timid. He does have an alpha streak in him and steals food and treats from his brother who allows him to do so. He will bark when he meets other dogs he doesn't know and would do best in a home with a submissive dog.

Harrison County Dog Pound. 82900 Toot Rd. Cadiz, OH 43950. Open: Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm; Saturday 9am-2pm; closed Sundays and holidays.
