GABBY - Bulldog and French Bulldog Dog for Adoption in Vaughan, Ontario

MEET GABBY

Gabby is a 4-year-old, 30 lb French Bulldog x bulldog with a big personality packed into one thick little body. She came to rescue through an owner surrender and is now ready to find a family who appreciates a girl who does pretty much everything at 100%.

Gabby is great with other dogs and absolutely LOVES to play, although gentle and graceful arent exactly her specialties. This sturdy little lady likes to wrestle and play a little rough, so dogs her size or larger would be the best match for her enthusiastic play style. She plays hard, zooms hard and then crashes even harder. Once her battery runs out, shes all about blankets, pillows and cuddling with her people.

Shes great with kids and has lived with and been around children of different ages. Because shes energetic and likes to jump when excited, older kids or sturdy, dog-savvy younger kids would be ideal. Gabby walks on leash and isnt reactive, although she does pull and could use a little work on that. Shes also crate trained, quiet in her crate and keeps it clean.

Gabby loves toys, is very food motivated and believes stuffed animals are meant to be loved...and then immediately destroyed. She also LOVES water and has been known to climb right into the outdoor dog water bowl when she gets hot. Apparently drinking from it simply isnt enough.

She currently lives with cats and loves them, but unfortunately her thick-girl wrestling techniques are a little much for her feline friends, so a cat-free home would likely be best. And then theres her voice — Gabby doesnt really bark; she produces something closer to a slightly strangled bulldog yodel.

Gabby is equal parts wrecking ball and cuddle bug — a funny, affectionate little powerhouse who plays hard, naps harder and is guaranteed to keep her future family laughing.
