Bijou is a little gem, and her name couldn't be more fitting. This sweet, gentle girl has lovely house manners, a cuddly side, and that wonderful ability to be good company without needing to be the center of attention every minute.

At 25 pounds, Bijou is a great medium-small size. She’s potty trained, sleeps through the night, and settles happily into her crate when it’s time for her humans to head out. She knows her routine, goes to her bed or crate when asked, and is an easy girl to have around the house.

Bijou enjoys a good walk, happily joining you for a mile or so, but she doesn’t need endless exercise to be content. She can entertain herself around the house or curl up beside you when you’re ready for company. And if cuddles are your thing, she’s more than happy to oblige!

She’s friendly and gentle, and we think she could be a lovely addition to a family with children. She’s still polishing her leash manners, but she’s already doing well and is eager to keep learning. She also takes her medication easily, which is always a nice bonus.

Bijou has so many of the qualities people hope for in a companion: affectionate, well-mannered, adaptable, and happy to share everyday life with you.
