Hope you're hungry! Meet Nugget Cheese, a 4 and 1/2-month-old (4/27) Bulldog /hound mix, weighing 24 pounds (as of 4/16/26). Nugget and his brother, Nacho, were found as strays and left in a bucket on the side of a Tennessee road. Talk about rude! But these boys know they are the best pups to bring smiles to your home. Who doesn't love nuggets, cheese or nachos? They're the perfect dinner combo!

His foster shares: He’s super sweet and great with my little kids and Mia. He is super curious and loves being outside. Loves snuggling up with anyone/thing that will let him. And he is super smart. He will figure out a way to make anything into a step to the next level he wants to reach! 😂 ~~

Nugget is a fun boy who is definitely open for anything! He has no fear and has thrived in whatever situation he’s in. If you're the daredevil type to jump out of a flying plane, Nugget will be right there with you pulling the parachute! In fact, he'll want to do it again and again! This spirited boy loves to play and is very curious about everything. He is the more rambunctious of the brothers and is sooooo very sweet. He will be going to a puppy playgroup soon so we’ll see how he does with other dogs his age, but so far so good! Nugget hasn't met cats yet, but he loves kids and will instantly be your child's best friend, so they can finally stop talking to their creepy imaginary friend. It's a win-win!

Nugget still has a lot to learn for potty training (he does know how to use a dog door), commands, leashing and crates. He hopes his future family will be more than ready to help him. The boy was found in a bucket after all! He needs as much love and care as he can get!
