Canela is a pleasant senior lady who is dreaming of a forever home. She would love a family that will include her in their adventures. Whether it’s walks, car rides or light hiking Canela is your girl. If catching up on the latest miniseries is your idea of a good time she will curl up next to you and join along.

Canela has met other dogs and is fine with respectful dogs possessing the same calm demeanor that she possesses. If she has had enough playing she will leave the party and find a soft spot to watch from a distance. Canela has strong prey drive and cannot live with cats or other small animals. Because of the quick and unpredictable nature of young children we are asking for a home without children under 12 years of age.

Canela recently received a Senior Wellness Exam with bloodwork. She was overweight when she arrived to rescue. It is recommended that she stays on the lean side and takes joint supplements daily to support healthy joints. Canela is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccines. She is 8 years old and weighs 70 pounds. This is a courtesy post for the Everett Animal Shelter.
