Meet Junie, the petite bull terrier, who wants to be your new best friend. She also wants to be everyone else’s best friend but that’s okay, she’s got a lot of love to give. Coming in at only 39 lbs, this compact cutie is on the smaller size but she makes up for it with her big personality.
Junie is between 2-3 years old, is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccines, microchipped and ready to head to her forever home. While Junie can not live with cats (tested and she thinks they should be chased at all costs), she has lived with other big dogs that are playful and not dominate. She doesn’t like dominate dogs and small dogs in the home are not recommended.
Junie LOVES squeaky balls and will gladly play ball with or without you. She is crate and potty trained, does great in the car and her walking skills are good but could be better. When she sees other dogs or people, she very much wants to go in their direction but she’s smart and can learn to be redirected.
Junie gives warning barks when someone is at the door but she isn’t an overly vocal dog. She has a very goofy personality and though she is small, she’s a little powerhouse. Her play style is rough and rowdy so even though she’s been around kids (she really loves all the humans she’s ever met), her strength and rowdiness should be considered for littles.
If Junie sounds like she might be a good match, you can apply to meet her by filling out an application on our website rescueunleashed.org.
Junie is currently being fostered in Snohomish, WA.
