Meet Rupert!

Rupert is a wonderful 3-year-old Bull Terrier who has been through more than any dog should have to endure. He was found as an emaciated stray, but despite his difficult start, Rupert has remained an incredibly loving and happy dog.

Rupert absolutely loves people and other dogs and is truly a wonderful dog. He is housebroken, crate trained, neutered, microchipped, and current on his vaccines. He enjoys being around his people and canine friends and is ready to find the loving forever home he deserves.

Rupert does have megaesophagus, which requires lifelong management. He takes medication for life and must eat his meals in a Bailey chair to help him safely eat. His adopter will need to be committed to maintaining his feeding routine, medications, and veterinary care throughout his life.

Because Rupert is a Bull Terrier with specialized medical needs, we will only consider adopters who have prior Bull Terrier experience and understand the breed and the commitment involved in caring for him.

Rupert has already fought so hard to get where he is today. He is a sweet, loving, wonderful dog who deserves someone willing to give him the extra care he needs.
