Ratchet - Bull Terrier Dog for Adoption in Angleton, Texas

Meet Ratchet, a goofy, energetic 4-year-old terrier mix who is ready to steal your heart! This fun-loving girl is a total human-enthusiast who can never get enough pets, belly rubs, and cuddles from her favorite people. Athletic and active, Ratchet lives for a great game of fetch and will happily chase balls in the yard until her heart's content. When it comes to other four-legged companions, she’s a bit of a dog-introvert who is selective about her canine friends and prefers having her personal space respected. Ratchet would thrive in a home looking for a playful, affectionate partner—either as a spoiled solo pet or with humans who appreciate her sweet, selective nature.

Why adopt from Pura Sanguine?
Every adoptable pet you see here is more than just a rescue—they’re a hero. Saved from euthanasia and given a second chance, these dogs and cats have gone on to give back by donating blood to help other animals in critical need. Now, they’re ready for their next chapter: a loving forever home. Through our Love GuaranteedTM Adoption Program, we match these extraordinary pets with families who will cherish them as much as we do—because after everything they’ve given, they deserve nothing less than a lifetime of love.
While this dog/cat is protected in our care, there are many others waiting for their opportunity to enter a program like this one and be given a second chance.
In 2021 Texas was ranked the No. 1 state for animal shelter deaths, the Greater Houston area is in desperate need to find other homing options outside of this area. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. This Little Hero has been blessed to get a second chance in life and is excited to start its next journey with you!We know our dogs very well and have spent countless hours with them, learning all of their quirks and goofy personalities. We have a team of dedicated animal care professionals that work day in and day out to bring every Little Hero out of their shell. From the moment they are accepted into our program we provide behavior & medical care to prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally training, and providing social enrichment. We provide socialization for our dogs through playgroups and one on one bonding time, where we will also work on their other skills such as leash training and basic commands. Our goal is to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts and just want someone to be understanding with them, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!

By adopting from us, you save TWO lives at once. The dog you adopt and the dog that will be replaced in their spot to continue on the same path!
