DESCRIPTION
Well, if that isn't the cutest nose in the world! Irish is estimated to be about 10 months old and weighs 44 pounds right now.
Meet Irish, he is a big, gentle baby who just wants to be close to you and feel loved. This well-mannered pup has a timid and quiet nature, who just wants to lean in for cuddles and give you all the love in the world. He is a little submissive at times, but with a leader to rely on, some positive socialization, and confidence-building, he will flourish. Irish just wants to be near you and feels most comfortable when he can stay close by your side. He will need a home where any children are at least 8 years old and may be best in quieter, more predictable type home that matches his personality. With a gentle soul and a sweet disposition, Irish is really going to make a wonderful family member. Could you be the leader Irish is hoping for and show him what it means to be loved and cared for? He would love it if you came to meet him.
If there is another nice doggy sibling in the home, Irish would love to meet them. He has a calm, gentle approach with other dogs and remains soft and loose.
If you are interested in Irish and are at least 21 years old, please come to our kennel during business hours, make an appointment, or fill out an application at k9stray.com and an adoption counselor will be in touch. We look forward to helping you find your new best friend!
*Please check your lease agreements for breed/weight restrictions prior to applying. We also do not do cat testing, so we do not know how a dog will do with cats. Not all dogs are available to go home on the same day you first meet.*
ABOUT: BULL TERRIER DOG BREED
The Bull Terrier is a distinctive and energetic dog breed known for its muscular build, egg shaped head, and unique personality. Originally bred for blood sports, Bull Terriers have evolved into affectionate companions with a playful and clownish demeanor. Their short, flat coat comes in a variety of colors. While known for their strong will, Bull Terriers are intelligent and loyal, forming strong bonds with their families. Proper training, socialization, and exercise are essential for the well being of this breed.
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
