Canelo (Hopps) - Boxer Dog for Adoption in Woodinville, Washington

Canelo, known as Hopps, is about two and a half years old. He came to us while dealing with Valley Fever, and the nickname came from the uneven little hop in his step when he first arrived. There was nothing funny about the reason behind it, but it became part of his story.

Now, he is nearing the end of treatment and ready to move into the next part of his life. Canelo is good with dogs, cats, and kids, and he is such an awesome little guy.

He has already worked his way through the hard part. What is left is the perfect forever family.

The boxer is a medium to large sized dog breed known for its muscular build, distinctive square head, and energetic personality. Boxers are loyal, affectionate, and good natured companions, making them an ideal family pet. They are intelligent, playful, and love to be around people, making them excellent with children. Boxers require consistent training, plenty of exercise, and socialization to thrive. With their strong work ethic and protective instincts, boxers excel in various roles, including as service dogs, therapy dogs, and in dog sports.
