Meet Duke, a silly, patient, and gentle boy who's ready to be your best friend! This fellow loves to meet new friends on walks or at the dog park, canine and human alike, and giving his beloved human the gentlest little kisses.
Duke loves quiet trail walks and car rides, treating every outing like an adventure. He's a fantastic companion, delighting in trips to wineries and the great outdoors (he's a big fan of swimming in lakes). At home, he's happy to rest quietly beside you while you work and cuddle up for belly rubs when you need a break.
This little buddy is housetrained and cratetrained; a well-mannered pup, he can be left uncrated for several hours while home alone, usually sleeping or lounging around by the door until you return, and sleeps in his crate overnight. He can be overwhelmed by loud city noises, and would do best in a quiet neighborhood.
Duke delights in romping around with his foster's resident dog. He has lived with families with children, and he's an absolute doll with kids, always friendly and gentle. He knows the words "sit," "let's go," and "wait," and is eager to learn more.
This easygoing, loyal, and snuggly pup is so excited to find his forever home. Apply today to meet Duke!
