At 10 years young and 53 pounds of pure sweetness, Sophie is searching for the retirement home of her dreams.

This gentle Boxer lady recently had a full veterinary exam, and the veterinarian had zero concerns. Sophie may be a senior, but she still has plenty of love left to give and is ready to spend her golden years as someone's cherished companion.

Sophie absolutely adores people. She is wonderful with kids, loves attention, and will happily soak up all the pets and cuddles you can offer. One of her favorite activities is going for car rides, making her the perfect co-pilot for errands, road trips, or ice cream runs.

Sophie has one simple request for her future family: she wants to be your one and only pet. She has made it very clear that she no longer enjoys sharing her space with other animals, so she is looking for a home without dogs or cats.

The adoption fee is $95 and you receive certificates for $50 towards spay/neuter and $10 towards rabies vaccine if not already done. All dogs are heartworm tested, receive a DHLPP, flea and tick treatment, and are dewormed.

The boxer is a medium to large sized dog breed known for its muscular build, distinctive square head, and energetic personality. Boxers are loyal, affectionate, and good natured companions, making them an ideal family pet. They are intelligent, playful, and love to be around people, making them excellent with children. Boxers require consistent training, plenty of exercise, and socialization to thrive. With their strong work ethic and protective instincts, boxers excel in various roles, including as service dogs, therapy dogs, and in dog sports.
