Rocky - Boxer and Mixed Breed Dog for Adoption in Northville, Michigan

MEET ROCKY!

If you're looking for a puppy who wants to be your best friend, your shadow, and your personal cuddle buddy, Rocky might just be your guy!

At just 3 months old, this Boxer/Rottweiler mix is already showing what an amazing companion he's going to be. His favorite place in the world? Curled up right in your lap!

A few things to love about Rocky:
Professional cuddler - if he fits in your lap, that's where he belongs!
Kid-loving guy - he follows his little humans everywhere. He's still learning his puppy manners, so he'll need a family to help him learn that fingers and toes aren't chew toys!
Dog friendly - he can be a little unsure around playful dogs at first, but with slow introductions, he's gaining confidence.
Cat friendly - he happily leaves the resident cat alone and redirects easily when tempted to join in on the fun.
Play hard, nap harder - he loves balls and a good game of fetch, but once he's done, he's OUT! He has a nice medium energy level for a puppy.
Working on potty training - he's doing well with potty pads indoors and is still learning the ropes of going outside.

Rocky is already such a sweet, loving boy with so much potential. He just needs a family willing to help him grow, teach him the ropes, and give him all the love he deserves.

He's neutered and ready to find his forever family! Could Rocky be the missing piece your family has been looking for?

The boxer is a medium to large sized dog breed known for its muscular build, distinctive square head, and energetic personality. Boxers are loyal, affectionate, and good natured companions, making them an ideal family pet. They are intelligent, playful, and love to be around people, making them excellent with children. Boxers require consistent training, plenty of exercise, and socialization to thrive. With their strong work ethic and protective instincts, boxers excel in various roles, including as service dogs, therapy dogs, and in dog sports.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
