Meet Wildflower!

Wildflower is a sweet 4-month-old Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier mix with a heart as big as her puppy paws. She came to us after her owner had to leave the country, and now she's ready to find a family to call her own.

Wildflower is everything you'd hope for in a puppy-playful, social, affectionate, and full of joy. She never meets a stranger and is wonderful with kids, making friends with everyone she meets. She's the kind of puppy who reminds you to find happiness in the little things.

She loves exploring the outdoors and has proven to be an amazing hiking buddy! Wildflower walks nicely on a leash and does great around other dogs, runners, and bikers. One of her favorite pastimes is chasing bugs and fireflies through the grass, and watching her pounce after them is guaranteed to make you smile.

This girl is smart, too! With just a few training treats, she learned "sit" almost instantly and is eager to keep learning. When she's feeling extra playful, she'll chase her own tail, toss her toys in the air, roll onto her back, or proudly carry around a favorite toy-or stick-like it's the greatest treasure she's ever found.

Wildflower is also learning to live with cats. She was initially unsure of the two adult cats in her foster home, but now she's simply curious. She's learning to approach them politely and does a great job respecting their boundaries when they tell her she's had enough.

Like any young puppy, she's still working on crate and potty training and is making wonderful progress with consistency and patience. She settles nicely in her kennel after a few minutes and continues to learn every day.

Wildflower would thrive with an active family that enjoys walks, hikes, and adventures. She'd love a playful canine companion to romp around with, but after a day of fun, she's happiest snuggled up next to her people.
