Popcorn is a 3-year-old, 40 lb Boxer/American Bully mix with the most adorably expressive little face—somehow she always looks a tiny bit sad, even when she’s having the time of her life!

Popcorn originally came to Doggedly as a puppy after she and her littermates were abandoned at a construction site and exposed to parvo. Thankfully, they all survived, and Popcorn made her way to Washington in 2023, where she was adopted by a loving family. Now, due to circumstances beyond her control, she’s looking for a new family to love.

Popcorn is sweet, silly, playful, and a world-class snuggler. She loves curling up beside her people, laying her head on you, and occasionally attempting to turn herself into a 40 lb lap dog.

Her absolute favorite thing? WATER. Popcorn is an amazing swimmer and will happily swim for hours if you let her. She’s equally thrilled with a hose in the backyard, so summer with this girl is guaranteed to be entertaining.

Popcorn is potty trained, crate trained, and leash trained and knows sit, come, lay down, off, and drop it. She even politely waits for an “okay” before eating her meals.

She currently lives with a senior dog, but Popcorn’s playful energy can be a little much for an older pup. She would be happy soaking up all the attention as an only dog or potentially sharing her home with a compatible dog who enjoys her play style. She can also be a little unsure when unfamiliar people enter her home and appreciates thoughtful introductions.

Mostly, Popcorn is just looking for someone who wants a funny, affectionate little sidekick to swim, play, snuggle, and share life with.

Popcorn is spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and ready to meet her next family.
