My story is a bit of a sad one, as my world was recently turned upside down, but I am staying positive and hopeful for my future. Prior to coming to the shelter, I spent my days and nights with the only family I ever had, my human dad. He unfortunately became ill and passed unexpectedly, and that is how I ended up here.

I miss him so much, but my shelter family has been helping me become more confident with making new human friends. I may be a little shy at first, but once you give me a couple gentle pets I prefer to snuggle (or at least attempt to snuggle) right into your lap! I love being attached to my shelter human's hips at any given chance.. I've heard the term "velcro dog" a couple times, whatever that means. I haven't met any other dogs at the shelter yet, but I did have a cat sibling previously.
