Sarge - Boxer Dog for Adoption in Grand Haven, Michigan

Boxer

Grand Haven, Michigan
June 6th
male, large, adult
DESCRIPTION
Adopt Sarge a goofy, lovable cuddlebug with the cutest big jowls and wiggle butt when he wags his little tail nub! Sarge loves lounging around the house, carrying stuffed toys, going for walks, and snuggling as close as possible preferably sharing your pillow at bedtime. Hes affectionate, silly, and happiest when hes curled up beside his person getting hugs and attention.
Sarge is potty trained when people are home, though he may have accidents if left alone, so he currently does best crated when unattended and is improving with crate training every day. He walks nicely on leash and loves cuddle time.
Because Sarge has resource guarding behaviors around food and certain toys (only with other dogs, not with people) he needs a structured, experienced home that can continue managing him successfully. He should not live with cats or young children, and he would thrive best as an only dog or with someone experienced in managing multi-dog households and resource guarding behaviors.
Sarge is an incredibly sweet, loyal companion who will reward the right home with endless snuggles, goofy antics, and devoted love.
