Toffee is every bit as sweet as her name suggests! This beautiful girl has a warmth in her eyes and a gentle personality that will win you over in no time.

Toffee is a lover through and through. She adores being close to her people and is always happy to cuddle up on the couch for some quality time. She’s a mellow girl overall, but when it’s time to play, she’s ready for some fun!

She would be a great fit for a mildly to moderately active home. Toffee enjoys her daily two-mile walk and is perfectly content to come home afterward and settle in for a well-earned snooze.

She also loves having a canine playmate. She has a great time romping around the yard with her resident foster sibling, and tug-of-war and wrestling are two of her favorite games.

A few more of Toffee’s favorite things? Squeaky toys, under-the-chin scratches, playing in the yard, and, most of all... being near the people she loves.

Toffee has a wonderful balance of playful and laid-back. She’s happy to head out for a walk or romp with another dog, but she’s equally happy to curl up beside you and enjoy a quiet afternoon. She’s just a sweet, affectionate girl looking for a family to call her own.

Adoption Requirements At a Glance.

* You must be 21 years of age.
* You must have a fenced in yard (exceptions can be made for certain dogs).
* All current pets in the household MUST be spayed/neutered and current on shots (yes, we do call and verify this information).
* Applicants with young children will be required to answer additional questions.
* Applicants that rent must provide landlord contact info. NCBR requires verbal landlord approval for all renters.
* We no not do adopt female boxers into homes with other large breed female dogs.
* We do not adopt out dogs as gifts.
* All pets must be INDOOR companions!
* NCBR does not adopt out of state, except northwest Nevada.

The boxer is a medium to large sized dog breed known for its muscular build, distinctive square head, and energetic personality. Boxers are loyal, affectionate, and good natured companions, making them an ideal family pet. They are intelligent, playful, and love to be around people, making them excellent with children. Boxers require consistent training, plenty of exercise, and socialization to thrive. With their strong work ethic and protective instincts, boxers excel in various roles, including as service dogs, therapy dogs, and in dog sports.
