If you are looking for a loyal companion with a heart of gold and a stunning look to match, meet Simone! Simone is a gorgeous, all-white Boxer who has been the absolute perfect houseguest in her foster home since arriving in mid-April.

Simone is an absolute sweetheart who radiates affection. She is a true people dog who loves nothing more than being close to her human friends (including kids). Whether she is looking up at you with her soulful eyes or leaning in for some pets, her main goal in life is to love and be loved. She has a gentle, endearing spirit that makes everyone who meets her instantly fall in love. True to her breed she's equal parts snuggler and stubborn. Simone enjoys tug of war or fetch with her favorite spike ball, but her go-to form of play is straight up roughhousing and wrestling.

Simone loves going for walks, followed immediately by a world-class nap right next to you on the couch. Her favorite moments are the quiet ones spent sharing sweet cuddles with her foster family or the chance to check out other furry friends out on the town. No snooze needed with this girl as she'll wake you up with kisses, excited for the day to start. She likes all treats but isn't highly food motivated. She's a smart girl and knows all her commands and is currently working on restraining her excitement around other dogs. She does not like to be left along and will cry and bark. Her foster parents are helping her with her independence and are sure that with time she will learn that being alone is not for forever.

Simone would fit best in a home that welcomes her as a true member of the family. She would thrive with an individual, young couple, or family who can give her the attention and affection she craves. She'd love a home where she can get a good daily walk or playtime, but mostly, she just wants a comfortable spot to be near her humans. It would be best for Simone to be in a home where her new family is patient with her anxiety and is able to spend a lot of time together with her as she slowly adjusts to being left alone.

Adoption Requirements At a Glance.

* You must be 21 years of age.
* You must have a fenced in yard (exceptions can be made for certain dogs).
* All current pets in the household MUST be spayed/neutered and current on shots (yes, we do call and verify this information).
* Applicants with young children will be required to answer additional questions.
* Applicants that rent must provide landlord contact info. NCBR requires verbal landlord approval for all renters.
* We no not do adopt female boxers into homes with other large breed female dogs.
* We do not adopt out dogs as gifts.
* All pets must be INDOOR companions!
* NCBR does not adopt out of state, except northwest Nevada.
