Harley is a 10 year old Boxer mix who is slowly coming out of his shell and showing his sweet personality. He’s a laid back guy who loves naps, leisurely walks, being outside, and rolling in the grass.

Harley is still learning the basics commands, he’s working on “sit” and “come.” He isn’t interested in toys yet and doesn’t quite seem to know how to play, although his playful side is beginning to emerge.

He can be a little unsure of new people and may bark when someone enters the home, but he warms up quickly when given a little time and space. Once he trusts you, he enjoys affection, including belly rubs! He’s also a funny little talker who will let you know when he wants a treat, more food, or a walk.

Harley enjoys his crate with some encouragement and sleeps peacefully at night. He loves his fenced yard but is happiest when his person is nearby.

Harley has been around cats and appears comfortable with them. His compatibility with dogs and children is still being assesed.

If you’re looking for a calm, easygoing senior who enjoys walks, sunshine, naps, and simply being near his person, Harley may be your guy!
