At just 1 year old, Rusty somehow has the soul of a sweet old gentleman. He's gentle, kind, and has perfected the art of melting hearts with those big puppy eyes.

Rusty is a Boxer mix (foster guesses there's some Pit Bull in there too), but his personality is 100% certified baby. He firmly believes the world should be soft, safe, and full of people telling him what a good boy he is. He's a little shy with loud noises and still building his confidence, so he'll thrive with a patient family that lets him come out of his shell at his own pace.

Now let's talk about his one very important personality trait...

He is a toe enthusiast.

Not just a little sniff. Oh no. If your feet are available, Scoob considers them his personal gourmet buffet. Consider yourself warned.

He's been doing well with my kids, though they're a little loud for his sensitive soul. On the other hand, he absolutely adores his fosters grumpy old granny dog, MJ... and somehow she actually likes him back, which honestly might be his greatest accomplishment.

Bath time wasn't exactly his favorite activity (I blame the cold water), but he forgave his foster mom eventually.

Rusty is the kind of dog that doesn't need to be the center of attention. He just wants to love his people, quietly follow you around, and be included in whatever you're doing. He's goofy, incredibly sweet, and the type of dog that makes a house feel like home.
