Meet Sadie!

Sadie is a beautiful Boxer/Lab mix who we believe is around 4 years old. She is a sweet, sensitive girl who is still figuring out that her new surroundings are safe.

Before coming to us, Sadie was a farm dog, so shelter life has been a pretty big adjustment. She can be timid and shy when she first meets people and will need a patient family willing to give her time to decompress and settle in at her own pace.

The good news? Sadie is already starting to come out of her shell with us! She has begun warming up to her caregivers and has discovered that she absolutely loves going for walks. Every day we are seeing a little more of the sweet girl hiding underneath that nervous exterior.

We were told that Sadie can be quite the barker, but funny enough, we haven't heard much of that from her since she arrived! Right now she seems more interested in quietly observing everything and learning her new routine.

Sadie isn't going to be the dog who walks into a new home and immediately acts like she owns the place. She needs someone who will let her take things slowly, build her confidence, and learn that she is safe and loved.

Once Sadie decides you're one of her people, we think there is a wonderfully loyal and loving companion waiting to emerge.

If you have a little patience and a soft spot for the shy ones, Sadie just might be your girl.
