Domino was rescued after finding himself at risk in an overcrowded shelter system — one of so many innocent dogs affected by the growing homeless pet crisis in Texas. He had also been hit by a car more than once and remarkably survived. Since arriving at Sunshine Acres Animal Sanctuary, Domino has shown us what resilience truly looks like. He has worked hard recovering, healing, and learning that people can be kind.

Now Domino is ready for the next chapter of his life: a forever home.

He is affectionate, intelligent, and loves being around people. Domino enjoys attention, outdoor time, and simply being included. He has a playful spirit but also has a softer side where he just wants to lean into you for comfort and love. Watching him blossom has been incredibly rewarding.
