Felicia is living proof that sometimes second chances show up at the very last moment.

We received an email that Felicia was scheduled to be euthanized at a local shelter. By the time we saw it, we truly believed we were already too late... until we got the message that she was somehow still alive. The second we heard that, we jumped at the chance to get her out.

And honestly? We are SO glad we did.

Felicia has the cutest little underbite and a face that makes people smile instantly. We believe she may be a Frenchie mix, though of course that is just our best guess.

Right now, Felicia is still thin from everything she has been through, and we are still getting to know her personality as she settles in and decompresses. But so far, she has been sweet, lovable, and very happy to finally be safe.

At around 27 pounds, Felicia is the perfect medium size, and we have a feeling her personality is only going to blossom more now that she finally has a chance to relax and just be a dog.

After everything she's survived, Felicia deserves a home where she'll never have to wonder if she matters again.
