Please see flier. Bug has severe separation anxiety. She is currently taking Prozac to help but it takes six weeks to kick in. She is dog selective and would make someone a great only dog. Here is what her foster she was with 24 hrs said about her, "I'm ok I just feel bad, if I didn't have gizmo I'd adopt her in a heart beat, she is super smart and so loving she loves the Zukes pumpkin training treats. She's in kennel he gave me which was brand new, it was still in box never used, I put her a second bed in there last night she's layed down in there to sleep just fine, it's only when another dog is present. She's lunged at big dogs in the neighborhood and Gizmo it wasn't the typical sniff how are you.
-She loves Natures Recipe Kibble Salmon and Sweet potato and Zukes Pumpkin training treats (both from Walmart, not expensive and doesn't upset her belly)
-She will sit for treats.
-She is good with older kids my son is 10 (she isn't aggressive with people at all several little kids pet her walking through the neighborhood, she loves people)
-She hates windshield wipers (but loves car rides)
-She LOVES long walks or runs. Does fine on a leash easy to redirect IF it's people, other dogs big or small not easy.
- she is easy to give pill meds to
-needs additional help knowing if you leave the room or house you will be back
- LOVES lap cuddles and looking at you while you pet her behind the ears
- loves soft cuddle beds
-in a yard she hasn't learned to dog or play fetch
-definitely needs to be a ONE pet home
-she is like a little piece of Velcro sticks right to you
-if you work from home no other pets and have the ability for her to just be with you all day she will be an amazing companion and to take car rides with, she will be an easy easy dog.
-at night she would be fine sleeping right with you and won't cry as long as she is right with you and not in a crate
-classical music playing calms her to go to sleep
- as long as she's walked or let out in back yard frequently she doesn't potty in house
-she did fine with a robot vacuum near her though
-during day if you work from home she has done very well in her kennel with a soft smaller squish bed in my office, has been very quiet, she flips out if you leave the room but once you come back she goes right back to calm and asleep
-while you shower she calmly lies on the rug in front of shower
- she loves quiet
