Nova is a 10 year old Boston Terrier that weighs about 26lbs. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, and on heart worm prevention.
Meet Nova
Nova has a heart full of love and a remarkable ability to adapt. She has quickly become a favorite wherever she goes thanks to her sweet nature, affectionate personality, and gentle spirit.
Nova loves being near her people. She enjoys curling up beside them on the couch, greeting them with genuine excitement when they return home, and soaking up affection. She absolutely loves belly rubs, enjoys laying on your chest, and is happiest when she can burrow under a cozy blanket for a nap.
Despite being a senior, Nova still enjoys her daily short walks and gets excited for meals, treats, and spending time with her people. She has excellent house manners, is fully house-trained, does well with calm dogs and cats, settles well in the home even when you're away, and is happiest living a quieter lifestyle where she can relax and enjoy being part of the family.
Nova does have some medical needs that her future family should be aware of. She has limited vision due to age-related eye disease and currently receives eye drops to help keep her comfortable and protect her eyes. She navigates familiar environments very well and has adapted impressively to her vision loss.
She also takes a few daily supplements and medications that help support her overall health, mobility, and liver function. Her recent bloodwork has shown improvement, and her veterinary team is pleased with her progress. Prospective adopters will receive all medical records and detailed instructions regarding her care.
Nova would do best with someone who appreciates senior dogs and understands that while she may need a little extra care, she gives back far more in love, companionship, and gratitude.
If you're looking for a calm, loyal best friend who wants nothing more than to be near her person and enjoy life's simple pleasures, Nova may be the perfect match.
If you would like to give Nova her forever home, please submit an application at southerncrossbtr.com. The adoption fee is $250. She is being fostered in Bloomington, IN. Approved adopters must be willing to travel to where the dog is being fostered in order to adopt them.
