DESCRIPTION
Handsome little Papi just joined us here at our shelter from New Mexico where he accidently became a little stray guy. He is a little longer haired border terrier or something other terrier and likely a little chi in him too and possibly some thing else(only a DNA test will tell us) and is tan colored and just so cute. He is around 5 months old and 15 lb and he's definitely ready to start a new life up here in our area. He has now been neutered and fully vaccinated and he'll come with the microchip too. He lives here in a room with his good friends and is good at using a potty pad to go potty beyween going outside.. He's a very good puppy and just needs a new beginning. Can you be his new beginning? If you would like to adopt this little guy please fill out an application from our website homepage and we'll get back to you by text within 24 hours. His adoption fee includes his trip up here and his medical and he is $300.
ABOUT: BORDER TERRIER DOG BREED
The Border Terrier is a small, fearless, and affectionate breed known for their devotion to their families. With a wiry, weather resistant coat and an otter like head, they were originally bred for hunting foxes and vermin along the Scottish border. These energetic and intelligent dogs excel in various canine activities, including agility and obedience. Their friendly and playful demeanor makes them wonderful companions for active families, especially those who enjoy outdoor adventures with their loyal four legged friends.
The Wirehaired Terrier is a charming and energetic dog breed known for its shaggy coat and lively personality. Originating from terriers bred for hunting small game, they are intelligent, spirited, and make loyal companions. Their wiry coat requires regular grooming to prevent matting, and they thrive on ample exercise and mental stimulation. With proper training and socialization, Wirehaired Terriers can be excellent family pets, excelling in activities such as agility and obedience.
