Meet Milano!

If you are looking for a gentle, easy-going companion who thinks he's a small lap dog, Milano is your guy. At around 30 pounds and 7 years old, he is the ultimate cuddle bug. If you are sitting down to work or relax, expect Milano to try to crawl right into your lap to keep you company. He is a calm, low-fuss shadow who is happiest just following his people room to room, moving seamlessly from snoozing in front of the living room window to loafing around the office.

Milano is fantastic with kids! He brings great, balanced energy to the home-sweet and interactive without being hyper. He'll follow the kids anywhere, including outside! He shares toys beautifully and plays great with other dogs. He prefers polite housemates who respect his personal space, though he's happy to romp around once he feels comfortable.

Milano walks like a absolute breeze... until a stray bunny crosses his path! Then his inner hunter takes over for a moment, but otherwise, he's a joy to walk. Milano will do best in a home with a secured fence and with a family who prefers leash walks over off-leash hikes.

House-trained and crate-trained, Milano gets a little FOMO (fear of missing out). He happily walks right into his crate and settles onto his bed, but he prefers when he can stay by your side instead. He does better in a crate when he can see another dog or stay close to his humans. His ideal home will be patient as he builds confidence during alone time.
