Meet Banjo the one eye wonder!
Banjo is a silly puppy at heart who gets very excited when he senses his people and loves to carry his stuffy around with him while flipping it in the air!
This sweet boy recently had his right eye removed and is blind in his other eye. Due to his vision impairment he does best in a home with an open layout, since he has to learn to navigate his surroundings and tends to bump into things.
Banjo’s foster is working on clicker training with him. When Banjo needs to go potty, he tells you by tippy tapping his front paws nails on the floor.
Banjo has been great with both dogs and cats in his foster home, and even snuggles with the kitties in his foster home! His foster has not yet heard him bark, so he’s overall a quiet little gentleman.
However he has a particular affinity for rocks, so his future home will need to make sure he is not picking them up when outside!

NOTE: We are an all volunteer group and do not operate a shelter. All of our animals are in foster homes. If you are not local to the DMV area, but are interested in one of our adoptable pets, that's okay. If you're approved to adopt, we can work out the geography!
