Meet the Chilean Trio - Santiago, Arica and Serena. Three small dogs named for three beautiful cities in Chile. They bring together the bustle of Chile's capital city, the warmth of a norther coastal town and the peaceful bive of Chile's beloved seaside city. Adopt one and you'll feel like you've brought home a tiny piece of South Amercan charm.

Polk County Humane Society is located in Bolivar, Missouri, and we welcome adopters from any state. We have access to a transport to Aurora, CO. Other outofstate adopters either travel to Missouri or arrange & pay for air transport. Virtual meetandgreets are available on the appointment request.

The Border Terrier is a small, fearless, and affectionate breed known for their devotion to their families. The schnauzer is a versatile and intelligent dog breed known for its distinctive beard and eyebrows. They come in three sizes - miniature, standard, and giant - each with their own unique personalities and characteristics. Schnauzers are loyal, playful, and make excellent family pets. They require regular grooming to maintain their wiry coat and love to be included in activities with their human companions. With proper training and socialization, schnauzers can thrive in various roles, from loving companion to skilled working dog.
