Lana came to us as a little stray, and we all have the same question: Who in the world could have let this sweetheart get away?!

Lana LOVES people and is always so excited to see you. She's affectionate, happy, and more than ready to soak up all the attention you're willing to give her.

When she first arrived at her foster home, Lana wasn't quite sure what to think about her foster brothers, especially the bigger one. But she's come a long way! She has really warmed up to them and especially loves her smaller foster brother, whom she happily follows around. She may still give her bigger brother an occasional growl when she feels like he's getting a little too close, but other times she's the one trying to convince him to play!

Lana is also proving to be a wonderful little houseguest. She is pretty much potty trained, with only an occasional accident, and can be trusted loose in the house when her foster parents go out. At bedtime, give her a treat and she'll happily head into her crate and sleep there through the night. But if you happen to invite her into the human bed instead, she is more than happy to accept that invitation!

Lana is also great in the car and is excited to come along for the ride. She loves going on walks and exploring the neighborhood. She is still working on her leash manners and can get a little excited and pull when she spots another pup out walking, but she's learning!

Most of all, Lana is just a sweet girl who wants to love and be loved. She's ready to find her person or family and finally have the forever home this little stray should have had all along.
